Primordial Silence

Before the first breath of creation, there was only stillness - light and shadow resting in the same fold of eternity.
Time had not yet begun its march; existence was but an unspoken thought.
In this vast, patient hush, the first note waits, unseen and unborn, suspended between nothing and everything. This is the waiting, silent and patient. The relentless beat in which things are to become.
